Planned launch offer. Purchasing is not open yet. The seven-day trial begins with your first successfully verified session and does not auto-charge.
Battery sessions are supported. When unplugged, a session stops at 15% battery or below; thermal protection can stop it sooner. Keep the Mac on a ventilated surface, even with the lid closed.
The current build targets Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. Closed-lid behavior and media compatibility still need broader testing; the final release will state the configurations tested.
A session temporarily changes a system sleep setting and starts a recovery process. macOS asks for administrator authorization when starting. Lid Keeper includes controls to restore normal sleep.
No. Lid Keeper uses the timer you choose. It does not monitor downloads, detect media completion, or decide when another app has finished its work. End the session yourself if you finish early.
Free stays available for sessions up to 20 minutes, with unlimited manual restarts. Plus adds sessions through four hours, custom timers, presets, and the shortcut. An active session keeps its original deadline when the trial expires.
Purchasing and initial purchase-key activation need a connection. After activation, the signed license is verified locally. Ordinary sessions and sleep recovery work offline.
